MGO is naturally made in the hive from DHA, which is present in the nectar of the Manuka Bush. MGO (Methylglyoxal) displays Antimicrobial Activity which is known to kill certain types of bacteria.
How to use
Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. If honey consistency is hard, warm to soften. Consume within 12 weeks of opening. Skin Care:
Apply Manuka honey directly to the skin for at least 15 minutes. Be sure to cover the affected area with a thin layer of honey.
Digestion and immunology:
Eat 1 to 2 tablespoons of Manuka honey each day (Straight or added it to your food)
Wound care:
Apply the honey to a bandage. Then apply the bandage to the wound. You shouldn’t apply the honey directly to the wound.
Hazards and cautions
Not suitable for infants under 12 months. Suitable for vegetarians. Kosher
